Simple Deployment
We chose to make AlphaDES a Windows application to reduce infrastructure complexity and cost, which are factors that most manufacturers struggle with when starting their digitization journey. There is no web server required, which means lesser IT overheads.
AlphaDES uses MySQL Database, which can be deployed in your premises at no cost. For Cloud Subscription, we even take care of provisioning and maintenance of the database for you. This means literally anyone can install and use AlphaDES.

Product & Process Traceability
Managing production data is a challenge faced by many manufacturers today due to the higher standard of product traceability required by many industries. Customers do care where their products come from, along with information such as raw materials, equipment, measurements, timestamps, etc that are related to the manufacturing process. And they expect such information to be provided on-demand, which simply can’t be managed by paper/excel records.
AlphaDES provides interfaces to key such information into a database that can store and retrieve data perpetually. Using the built-in reports, raw data and performance trends such as OEE, product yield, equipment output, downtimes and defects can be retrieved instantly, regardless how far the user needs to look back in time.
Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
OEE is a measurement method used by the manufacturing industry to monitor the percentage of equipment time that is productive (making good and sellable products).
AlphaDES is designed with OEE in mind. The mechanics behind the data entry interfaces allow the system to capture necessary data required for OEE measurements, thus relieving production resources from manually collecting and calculating performance trends.

Statistical Process Control (SPC)
AlphaDES includes a Quality module that allows users to create Inspection Plan for measurement data acquisition. This is particularly useful for manufacturers relying on traditional measurement devices and manually plotting Control Charts.
By keying measurement data directly into AlphaDES, QC can monitor all the Control Charts in real-time from a single computer. Statistics such as Cpk, Ppk, Std Dev, and Control Limits are automatically calculated so Engineers always know if the process is within control.

Material Genealogy
Customers from many industries want to know that manufacturers can record and trace material usages throughout the manufacturing process. Knowing when different batches of materials are fed into the production line can also be very helpful when identifying root causes to process variations.
Tracking materials via manual recordings will not allow effective use of the data when it is needed, often urgently. The material tracking functionality in AlphaDES is integrated tightly to the data entry interfaces so that production operators have a guided and enforced approach to record the data.

The Cloud Lite/Pro subscriptions allow our customer to start using AlphaDES within 3 working days, with a starting cost of US$ 350 per month. Deploy with zero infrastructure cost, and leave the database maintenance to us.
The On-Premises license allows our customer to deploy and host AlphaDES within their own corporate infrastructure. This license is a pay-once perpetual license that comes with 1 year of maintenance subscription for support and software updates.
